Rain is always welcome in our community. However, it has significantly delayed the completion of our trail and drainage work project (the “Project”) between the Lake Shore Harbour and Olympia Estates subdivisions (along Volterra Lake). The trail is over 90% complete, but the remaining work to be done to finish the job requires the area to be completely dry. When several consecutive dry days occur, the Project will be completed.
Trail Section Closed
A section of the Vicksburg walking trail will be closed for trail work and drainage repair beginning Monday, August 15, 2022. The section closed is the sidewalk that extends between the Lake Shore Harbour and Olympia Estates subdivisions (along Volterra Lakes Drive) and in proximity to the area around the Diamond Creek Drive cul-de-sac. Work is scheduled to begin Monday, August 15th and will require approximately 3 weeks to complete without weather delays.

Asphalt trail will be temporarily closed for two days on Thursday, April 14, 2022 and April 15, 2022.
The asphalt trail which runs from Vicksburg Boulevard Bridge to Kitty Hollow Park will be barricaded in order to repair cracks and apply a seal coat to the asphalt.
Please use other trails during this time to protect yourself and your pets.
